What a wonderful partnership between the two of you! I’d like to win this and find someone special who might need a little extra critter & lavender comfort. I know that usually these are for children who are going through traumatic events, but I know a woman whose husband is seriously ill, and in the last couple of years she lost her father and her sister was murdered. And she loves drawing teddy bears. So even though she’s a grown up, I know it’d be a lovely gift for Bren. Love to see good people doing such good things!
I think it is fantastic that Pillows of Lavender is supporting such a wonderful cause like Critters Who Care. I hope others will do the same and support Critters Who Care.

This is a lovely cause that I feel fortunate to only be able to relate to partially. If I won I would donate the critter to the Pediatric Cardiology (PICU) unit at Sutter Memorial Hospital. My son was there for 2 heart catheterizations and 2 open heart surgeries all before he was 2. After the 1st surgery he received a heart-shaped pillow that was donated to the unit by I-don’t-know-who. It didn’t mean much to him as he was only 10 months old, but it meant the world to me. The fabric was a Snoopy print, the favorite character of my late paternal grandmother and it felt like a message that she was watching over us. I would love the chance to share that warmth and goodness with another patient and their family by donating a critter.
